Shaveta Nayyar

With more than 20 years of experience, President of edudham(www.edudham.com), Founder of “Sargam Zindagi Ki” and author of the book “Emotions In My Basket”, Shaveta Nayyar has contributed immensely towards developing skill based programs for children. She has also won many accolades as a playwright and Director with many plays, documentaries and short films. Shaveta plans to start a movement on emotional wellness which is much needed in our society.

M.A (Eng) and P.G.D in Planning & Project Management( Hyderabad University), Shaveta has worked with esteemed organizations like, India Today, 24×7 Learning(e-learning implementation company, Bangalore), JA India ( a reputed NGO with headquarters in USA) and Diplomatic Mission in Delhi. Shaveta’s articles have been featured in many magazines and leading newspapers.

Her leadership skills, good communication and more importantly her approach to work makes her stand apart. Shaveta has worked with many NGOs and has been associated with SCWA since many years.

Sheela Rao

With more than 36 years of experience working with people and students with diverse needs, Sheela Rao specializes in assisting people in the areas of academic achievement, career and social/emotional development, ensuring they become productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow. She executes it with Child centric approach,Parental Guidance,behavioral monitoring,rehabilitation techniques and research methods. As a Social counselor, she has been mostly dealing with women in distress, domestic violence and other marital disharmony cases, children with psychological issues and special needs,psychiatric cases etc.

She has worked as a Social Counselor in VIMHANS, and project officer at Institute of Social Sciences. She is currently working at St. Paul as Head-counselor working with parents, teachers, children and the community. Her other projects include making school junk food free, health is wealth, Interact club, Each one Teach One and Adult Literacy etc

She is an Advisory Board member of Business community Foundation,Delhi,Dreamland, Education Society. She is also a Board member of Sanitation Consultancy Services Organization working in many states for promoting low cost household toilets , health awareness and public toilet conveniences in urban and Rural areas. She has been secretary, Treasurer and President of “Organisations of Goans”; in Delhi for 15 years. She is also an active Volunteer with many NGOs like NAB, CHETNA etc.

Her qualifications include graduation in Psychology from university of Bombay, MA from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and PGD in guidance and counselling.

Rakesh Dewan

With more than 40 years of experience, Rakesh Dewan is retired as Managing Director of Boart Longyear India- a multinational corporation. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering and Alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and Swedish Institute of Business Management, Rakesh Dewan specializes in strategy management.

He is also bestowed with the ‘Rising Personality of India’ award in the field of Management by Penguin Publishing House,London. He is included in the ‘ List of 150 achievers of 20th century ‘ and ‘ Biography International ‘. His articles have been featured in Economic Times , Business World , Capital Markets etc. He also writes for ‘Samvad’- a community newspaper.

Gopa Sood

Gopa Sood is retired as PGT English after having served the Dept. Education- NCT Delhi for almost 35 years. She is presently working on extension (teaching Maths and English to the senior students). A Master Trainer in English from The British Council, she has been an active participant in the ASL course designing in speaking English (A program designed by Trinity London). She has also worked as a master trainer in INSET program for “Teaching the teachers” and various YUVA programs organized by SCERT.

Sandeep Dham

An alumunus of IIM Ahmedabad and B.E (Electronics), National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, Sandeep Dham is currently working as the COO at Aakash Educational Services Ltd.

He has more than 20 years of experience in business development and management. Previously he has worked as Vice President- Safe Express and GM –Madura Coats. He has also worked in esteemed organizations – Infosys Technologies and Asian Paints.

As a subject speaker on sales and managemnt, Sandeep has been invied by reputed colleges to speak on management. Sandeep feels that emotional sensitivity has become primariry important these days. He is instrumental in framing strategic path for “Sargam Zindagi ki”.

Veena Nayyar

Veena Nayyar, has been retired from Air India. She specializes in quality assurance and management and developing and reviewing administrative policy. She is passionate about teaching children in new ways. She believes that a talent pool should be created for children that will enhance their inner abilities and make them more confident and positive.

Mayank Jhanji

Mayank Jhanji has two decade long experience in financial industry. He has worked with reputed companies like Indiabulls and Religare. With his expertise in financial strategy, he is currently working at Tata Communications. He is a graduate in engineering and post graduate in finance.

He has been active in social areas especially related to child education and environment conservation.
